People have died from tobacco-related diseases since the opening of the first FCTC working group on 28 October 1999.
The FCA works on three campaigns to support global tobacco control using the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC).

FCA's campaigns are meant to inspire as well as to inform. Each one includes ideas on how you can take action to ensure that the promise of the FCTC – which now has 180 Parties – is translated into real, effective tobacco control measures.
